MovingDot was granted the project to redesign Instrument Flight Procedures for the Beatrix Tower.

The project entailed:

1. New SIDs and STARs approaches;
2. Minimize the amount of published Instrument Approaches;
3. VFR procedure and chart;
4. Geographical (lateral) separation;
5. Training of the Air Traffic Controllers (ATCos).

All ATCos were to complete online training (e-learning), prior to classroom training. The classroom training was a one-day course and at the end of the course, a written exam was administered with a minimum passing score of 80%.

All ATCos passed their exam successfully.

The new SIDs and STARs, Geographical separation and VFR approach and chart will be implemented July 18^th, 2019.
