As of February 17, 2023, ANSA introduced the AFAS Digital Logbook in ATC and AIA units. Personnel of both units received training from the AFAS team. Prior to the digital logbook, all essential information and shift changes were written in a paper document.

Benefits of the digital logbook:

• The digital logbook is web-based, accessible over the internet through any browser interface, anytime/anywhere;
• All information is centralized and available to those concerned;
• Reports are digitalized and submitted automatically to the relevant parties and remain available to those concerned;
• The monthly schedule is available and updated in real-time;
• Shift changes are digitalized and subject to the approval of both involved, this creates a transparent process.
