The project Renewal TopSky ATC hardware and new TopSky ATC Software installation was successfully implemented in the second week of June 2023.

The project involved several key tasks:

• Renewal of all the TopSky ATC servers i.e. the Flight Data Processors (FDPs) servers, the Radar Front Processors (RFPs) servers and the Data Recorder (RECs) servers.
• New Controller Working Position (CWP) PC for the Tower position, Assistant position, Surveillance position, Operation Supervisor position and the Technical Supervisor position.
• New Data communication IT Switches.
• Installation of the newest TopSky ATC software version 8.2.9. 
• Technical OJT was provided on how to install a server position and a controller working position.

The installation process was carried out by two Thales engineers, who received support from ANSA’s Technical Team. The cutover to the new TopSky ATC hardware and new Software took place on June 9, 2023.
