In March 2026, ANSA engaged a specialist engineer with expertise in the Thales 431 CVOR (Conventional Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Radio Range) system to carry out repair works on the BEA VOR. The repairs focused primarily on the antenna system and were conducted with the support of ANSA’s technical team.
The repair work was successfully completed; however, a flight inspection was required to validate the VOR signal performance. This validation was carried out in the second week of April 2026 by Radiola Ltd., confirming that the BEA VOR is operating in accordance with its specifications.
Following successful flight validation, the BEA VOR was returned to operational service on April 15, 2026, after approximately seven months of downtime.
