ANSA was proud to support and participate in the IFAIMA Global AIM 2026 Conference, held in Aruba from 8 to 10 September 2026. The event brought together aeronautical information management professionals, aviation authorities, air navigation service providers, regulators, airports, technology partners, and international organizations, including ICAO, to discuss the future of Aeronautical Information Management (AIM).
Under the theme, “AIS to AIM: What’s Holding Us Back and How We Move Forward,” the conference provided a forum for open dialogue on the challenges and opportunities associated with the ongoing transition from Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) to Aeronautical Information Management (AIM). Over three days, participants engaged in technical presentations, operational discussions, professional networking, and collaborative exchanges aimed at advancing innovation, efficiency, and safety across the global aviation industry.
During the conference, ANSA’s CEO delivered a presentation titled “Aruba’s AIM: Challenges and Opportunities – Small Island Connected to Global AIM”. The presentation highlighted how Aruba is leveraging its size as a strategic advantage to advance Aeronautical Information Management.
It also showcased ANSA’s practical approach to the AIS-to-AIM transition through strengthened stakeholder collaboration, investment in digital AIM capabilities and workforce development, regional cooperation within the Dutch Caribbean, and preparation for future System-Wide Information Management (SWIM) integration. The presentation also emphasized the importance of data quality, innovation, and professional development in building a resilient, future-ready AIM environment.
ANSA was honored to welcome colleagues, partners, and friends from around the world to Aruba and to contribute to the discussions shaping the future of aeronautical information management.
